When it comes to Kelley Blue Book honors, Honda is raking them in! With a whopping six Consumer Choice Awards for 2024, Honda has much to boast about. Kelley Blue Book has bestowed on the automaker not one, but six awards, noting such areas as Best Overall Brand, Best Value Brand and Best Overall EV/Hybrid Brand, among others.
The award was given recently at the New York International Auto Show, where Honda also walked away with “Most Trusted Brand,” “Best Performance Brand,” and “Best In-Vehicle Experience Brand.”
These recent feathers in their cap make for a whopping 32 Kelley Blue Book Consumer Choice Awards, more than any other brand. For a total of eight times, they were designated “Best Overall Brand,” over the past 11 years, and in the last decade, was synonymous with “Best Value Brand.”
These awards are all based on consumer automotive perception data from Kelley Blue Book’s Brand Watch study, meaning that the most desirable key brand attributes are identified, ones in which excite and attract car buyers to the brand and their line up of quality vehicles.
Kelley Blue Book’s Brand Watch, an online brand and model perception tracking study, taps into more than 12,000 in-market new-vehicle shoppers annually on the site KBB.com. Driver perception when it comes to the key factors driving their buying decision is explored, and brand loyalty and familiarity is also identified.
Honda, which has been producing vehicles in America for more than 40 years, has much to be proud of when it comes to this worthy designation. A household name that has presented such iconic models as the Accord, Civic, CVR-V, Pilot, Odyssey and more, Honda is known far and wide for its decades of consistent innovation and top engineering. These Kelley Blue Book awards only serve to reinforce what is an already stellar reputation.
Offering a full line of clean, safe, fun and connected vehicles, Hondas are available through more than 1,000 independent dealers across the nation. In addition to its tried and true models like the Passport and HR-V, among others, Honda’s electrified vehicle lineup is also impressive. It includes the likes of the Accord hybrid, CR-V hybrid, and later this year, the Civic hybrid. Honda’s first volume battery-electric vehicle, the Honda Prologue, is also on tap!
So popular and so coveted by the masses, Honda meets the growing demand by operating 18 major manufacturing facilities in North America. Just last year, more than 99 percent of all Honda vehicles sold in this country were made in North America, with about ⅔ made in America and using domestic and globally sourced parts.
Throughout its storied history, Honda has racked up the accolades and this recent Kelley Blue Book recognition is just one more way the famed automaker stands out from the rest.
