What we know!

A high-value family sedan, presented in various trim levels and starting at just under $30,000, is found here, with the Accord for 2025 boasting a variety of amenities. Considered a rare vehicle that is greater than the sum of its parts, the all-new Accord is outstanding.

New in this model year is a blacked-out SE model that replaces the low-cost EX trim for 2025. The SE is presented with standard features that include black window trim, black 17-inch aluminum wheels, black mirror caps and a black shark-fin antenna on the roof. The cabin is also fancied up, with a few niceties that include a 10-way power driver’s seat, a power sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats. All models also now come with rear climate control vents and two rear USB-C ports.

For the hybrid models, buyers enjoy the convenience of a new 15-watt wireless phone charging pad, with the Touring trim now offering a cozy heated steering wheel as standard.

Depending on these various trim levels, the price ranges anywhere from $29,390 to $40,395. Experts recommend buyers to upgrade to the EX–L hHybrid, which adds the more 204-hp powertrain and also the larger 12.3-inch infotainment display. This trim level also features front and rear parking sensors, leather upholstery, a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and much more!

When it comes to power, the Accord LX gets its juice from a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 192 hp and drives the front wheels through a CVT. Similar to previous generations of the Accord, it does not offer all-wheel-drive.

A more prominent position in the lineup, the hybrid powertrain consists of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors that combine for 204 hp. Its only powertrain is offered on the Sport, EX-L, Sport-L and Touring models.

Smooth, quiet and composed, this vehicle’s handling is a sure-fired confidence boost. Thanks to precise steering and well-controlled body motions, a compliant ride is realized.

For those loving speed, be assured this Accord will deliver, reaching 60 mph from 0 in the nonhybrid model with the 192 hp turbocharged 1.5-liter four–cylinder in 7.3 seconds. The faster 204-hp Accord hybrid’s 60 mph is a bit slower at 6.5 seconds.

Within, the cabin boasts a sleek design. Air vents are hidden behind an expanse of honeycomb trim, making clear the cleverness of design also evident in the Civic and CR-V SUV. The trunk boasts up to 16.7 cubic feet of cargo, while the LX, SE and Sport trims come with cloth upholstery and the others leather.

In the area of technology, the Accord delivers, with all models regardless of trim level coming with a 10.2-inch digital gauge display. The ever-popular Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included across the lineup, but only those with the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen offer wireless connectivity for those features. The higher-end Touring trims come with a 6.0-inch head-up display and a 12-speaker Bose stereo system.

Safety is at the heart of the Accord with all trim levels equipped with a variety of features as standard. Called Honda Sensing, this suite contains such key benefits as automated emergency braking and lane-departure warning, as well as convenience functions such as adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition. Other top features include standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection; standard lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist and standard adaptive cruise control.

More info on the Accord’s crash test results can be found on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety websites. A warranty package is considered adequate for this model, although the Accord does stand out in its class in that it offers complimentary scheduled maintenance. Other aspects of the warranty include a limited coverage of three years or 36,000 miles and a powertrain warranty for five years or 60,000 miles. The complimentary scheduled maintenance is for one year or 12,000 miles.
